Huh. My perspective on this is that, first off the term, “homosexuality” has been utilized since 5th century B.C. Coining all different types of appraisals throughout history. Unfortunately, the greater part of it being negative. Whereas the terms, “Gay” and “Lesbian” are more recent, specifically around 20th century.  And because of this, they have a greater acceptance. Times have changed since the 5th century. And society has grown more opened minded towards those two terms, with the growing younger society becoming more comfortable coming out with contemporary terms to label themselves. “Homosexuality” However, is a bit of a different story due to its history. That’s my two cents on this.
